The Canadian Research and Education for the Advancement of Child Health (CanREACH) is a program devoted to promoting paediatric mental health literacy in primary care through education and training services. CanREACH is dedicated to transforming health systems by empowering primary care providers to know and use the most effective evidence based methods for identifying and treating peadiatric mental health conditions. Not only is the information scientifically proven, the education and training employs evidence based delivery.

  • Delivering an accredited 6-month mini-fellowship training as licensed from The REACH Institute, “Patient-Centered Mental Health in Paediatric Primary Care (PPP)”.

  • Offering a Consultation Service to local participant alumni of the PPP training including both pediatric psychiatric consultation and resource assistance.

  • Providing localized web-based resources and training modules specific to primary care providers.

CanREACH strives to support and empower our local community by identifying and disseminating the most up-to-date evidence based information in child mental health to primary care providers by way these various service areas in efforts to all create and sustain practice change processes for the benefit of future generations.
